You don’t have to wait until summer for an adventure in English
CBS Outdoor Adventures is back with a new season of themed mini camps for children aged 5 to 12: weekends filled with nature, friendship, movement and natural English learning in Seville.
A new school year brings lessons, routines and busy schedules, but children need something else too: time to switch off, play, move, explore and enjoy experiences outside their everyday routine. That is exactly what CBS Outdoor Adventures is designed to offer.
Our themed mini camps take place on weekends and selected school holidays throughout the academic year. They are open to both pupils from CBS, The British School of Seville, and children from outside the school. Everyone is welcome.
The aim is simple: to create a safe and exciting environment where children can make new friends, build confidence and independence, enjoy the outdoors and use English naturally while taking part in activities they genuinely enjoy.

What is CBS Outdoor Adventures?
CBS Outdoor Adventures is a programme of weekend camps in Seville organised by the CBS Summer Camp team. It is based on a very simple idea: outdoor adventures, meaningful experiences and opportunities to grow should not be limited to the summer holidays.
Throughout the school year, we organise a variety of themed mini camps. Some focus on sport, while others introduce children to science, art, cooking, creativity or imaginative worlds. Others are simply an opportunity to enjoy a genuine outdoor adventure with a new group of friends.
The theme may change, but our approach remains the same: learning by doing, learning through play and learning together. Children take part, make small decisions, work as a team, discover new skills and experience the satisfaction of overcoming age-appropriate challenges.
Switching off from screens and reconnecting with real experiences
Running outdoors, chatting with other children, trying a new activity, sharing a meal, laughing during an evening activity or finding the courage to attempt something for the first time may sound simple, but these experiences are increasingly valuable. Rest does not only mean doing nothing. Sometimes it means changing pace and giving both body and mind a completely different kind of experience.
An English camp without turning the weekend into another lesson
One of the defining features of CBS Outdoor Adventures is our approach to natural English learning through interaction, active participation and genuine use of the language.
Children are supported by our native and bilingual monitors and use English within the context of the activities themselves. They listen to instructions, take part in games, work in teams, ask questions and communicate while their attention is focused on what they are actually doing.
We do not want to reproduce a traditional classroom during the weekend. Instead, English becomes part of a positive and enjoyable experience. This real-life context gives children the opportunity to develop listening and communication skills in a far more spontaneous way.

The season continues in October with two very different adventures
On the weekend of 17th-18th October 2026, families can choose between two very different experiences running at the same time. Different themes, but the same CBS philosophy: friendship, learning, fun and English.
CBS Spa Party Camp
An inclusive experience combining wellbeing, creativity and self-care through activities such as sunset yoga, mindfulness, breathing exercises, gentle skincare, nail art, hairstyling, hand massage, cooperative games and an evening activity.
CBS Football Tournament Camp
A weekend for children who love football, with training sessions, matches, accuracy, speed, dribbling and shooting challenges, team competitions, a final tournament and a special Football Night.

CBS Outdoor Adventures takes place at CBS, The British School of Seville, in the La Juliana residential area of Bollullos de la Mitación, Seville. Its location within the natural surroundings of La Juliana pine forest means that a large part of the experience takes place outdoors.

CBS has been organising educational programmes and camps for children since 2009. Our team supports campers throughout activities, meals, social moments and evening sessions, always working to ensure that every child feels included, supported and comfortable.
Safety, wellbeing and close supervision are fundamental to the way we work. But we also know that a good monitor does far more than supervise. They encourage children to join in, notice when someone needs a little extra support, help new friendships develop and turn small moments into special memories.
