No Spanish required to join
English is the main language of learning at CBS. Students can therefore join our international community even if they speak little or no Spanish when they arrive.
Spanish grows naturally too
Spanish forms part of the academic programme, and students who are new to the language can receive Spanish as a Foreign Language support while they develop confidence.
Everyday life in Spain gives them something equally valuable: genuine opportunities to hear, understand and use Spanish naturally while discovering the culture, traditions and community around them.
British qualifications, Spanish recognition
Students following the Spanish recognition pathway also study the required Spanish subjects, including Spanish Language and Literature and Spanish Geography and History during Secondary.
Our Academic Records and Convalidation Department supports families with recognition procedures and university access, helping students keep pathways open in Spain and internationally.
