CBS IS
SPECIAL.
“If I had to describe it in one word, it would be ‘special’.”
Dear families,
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of the team at CBS, The British School of Seville since the school first opened in 2009.
By then, I had already been living in Seville for twenty years, but nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I first walked through the gates of CBS.
The first thing that struck me was the school itself: so different, so full of light and colour. But what truly moved me was the atmosphere: the spirit of the British education system, the spaces that reminded me of my own childhood, the songs, stories and traditions in English.
All of that, brought together in one place: CBS.
Even today, I still feel the same excitement every morning when I arrive at school at 9:00.

IT ISN’T A BUILDING.
IT’S THE PEOPLE.
Above all, CBS is not a building, or even a collection of classrooms and facilities. CBS is a community of people: families, teachers, administrative staff, maintenance, kitchen and cleaning teams, all working towards the same purpose:
to give every student a personalised, caring and happy education.
THE CBS
FAMILY
Over the years, our CBS family has continued to grow. Each school year, we welcome new families and new teachers who bring enthusiasm, fresh ideas and experiences that enrich our school.
Their energy and commitment help CBS continue to evolve, improve and adapt, without ever losing the essence that defines us: care, collaboration and the constant desire to give our students the very best.
SEE.
LISTEN.
SUPPORT.
We firmly believe that education is the key to future happiness, which is why we treat every child as the unique individual they are.
At CBS, we understand that every student grows and learns at their own pace. Our role is to guide and encourage them as they discover their own path, awaken their curiosity and work towards their goals with enthusiasm and independence.
CARING IS
PART OF EDUCATION.
Our school is like one big family. We know our students, their background, their passions, their worries and their dreams.
Each of them receives individual support, with the closeness and care that characterise our community.
CBS IS SOMETHING
YOU EXPERIENCE.
After so many years at CBS — more than two thousand days of shared learning, challenges and joy — I can say with pride that we have experienced far more happy moments than difficulties, more laughter than tears, and far more “well dones” than complaints.
WATCHING THEM GROW.
WATCHING THEM FLY.
The most rewarding day of the year, without question, is our Year 13 graduation.
Seeing our students achieve their goals, begin university — whether in Spain, the United Kingdom or anywhere else in the world — or start their professional journey in the arts, hospitality, aviation or technical training is impossible to put into words.
Knowing that we have been part of their journey is, for me, the greatest reward an educator can have.
GROWING TOGETHER.
CELEBRATING TOGETHER.
Every graduation marks the end of one stage, but it also celebrates everything we have shared along the way.
COME AND DISCOVER
WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL.
If you are looking for more than just a school — a place where your child is valued for who they are, where they are happy to learn, and where they are inspired to dream big and reach their full potential — CBS is that place.
I hope to welcome you soon and show you in person what makes CBS, The British School of Seville, a truly special school.
Warmest wishes,
