EDUCATING PEOPLE.
PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE.
“Enjoy learning today to be happy tomorrow!”
Dear Families,
Choosing a school for our children is one of the most important decisions we make as parents. We are choosing the place where they will spend a significant part of their childhood and adolescence, the people who will guide them as they grow, and the environment in which they will begin to discover who they are and who they want to become.
That is why, when a family places their trust in CBS, The British School of Seville, we accept a responsibility that goes far beyond providing an excellent academic education.
We want our students to learn, to be curious, to work hard and to fulfil their potential. We want to prepare them for an international and constantly changing world, giving them the knowledge, skills and confidence they will need to thrive within it. But we want to do so without ever losing sight of something fundamental:
Individuals, each with their own strengths, personality, interests and path to follow.
At CBS, we believe in an education that is ambitious and academically strong, but also deeply human. An education in which every student can feel known, heard and supported; where respect, responsibility, empathy, effort and consideration for others are not simply values we teach, but values our students see reflected every day in the people around them.
ENJOY LEARNING TODAY
TO BE HAPPY TOMORROW
Because learning does not end when we leave school. We continue to learn throughout our lives: when we discover something new, when we face a challenge, when we make mistakes, when we listen to others or when we find a different way of understanding the world.
That is why one of the most valuable things we can give our students is the ability to enjoy the process of learning itself.
We want them to leave CBS with knowledge and an excellent academic foundation, but also with curiosity, confidence and a genuine desire to keep learning. Because when we enjoy learning, we learn better; and when we retain that desire to learn, we are better prepared to grow, adapt, discover what inspires us and find our own path.
For us, that is an essential part of what it means to educate our students to be happy tomorrow.
Our British and international educational programme allows us to accompany our students from their earliest school years through to preparation for university and adult life.
Throughout that journey, we want them to develop independence, critical thinking, creativity, adaptability and a genuinely international outlook, while retaining the warmth and strong sense of community that have always been central to the identity of CBS.
CBS AND ARISTON EDUCATION
Today, we are also beginning a new chapter as part of Ariston Education, an international community of schools that shares our belief that every student should have the opportunity to discover their strengths and fulfil their potential.
This international dimension enables us to continue learning, innovating and creating new opportunities for our students and our team, while preserving everything that makes CBS a unique school.
THE PEOPLE
There is, however, something that no website, prospectus or letter can fully convey.
A school needs to be experienced.
Behind every educational project there are facilities, programmes, results and methodologies, but what truly brings a school to life are the people who are part of it.
COME AND VISIT US
So, if you are considering CBS for your child, my invitation is a simple one: come and visit us.
Walk through our school, discover our surroundings, step into our classrooms, meet our team and see what everyday life is like for our students.
And that is precisely what I would most like you to discover about CBS.
It will be a pleasure to welcome you.
